Zecnero has not launched and the node has not been released. This is the procedure it will follow: install the node, give it your address, let it run. A normal desktop CPU is all this chain asks for.
No GPU needed. RandomX is built so the most efficient hardware for it converges on an ordinary processor, so a GPU adds little. That is the point of the choice.
Nothing is published yet. When it is, check the release signature and the SHA-256 sums before you run it.
Your rewards land here, so make it one you control. No wallet has been released yet; the wallets page tracks that. A mining address is transparent and starts with N1. Write the seed phrase down on paper before you mine a single block.
The node takes your payout address. Thread count belongs to the miner, in step 04.
[mining] miner_address = "N1…your address"
# the node serves block templates $ zecnerod start # the miner and the bridge that feeds it are not released yet
The node syncs first, then serves block templates to the miner over the bridge. A block you find is spendable 100 blocks later.
You keep the whole block subsidy when you find one: 6.25 ZMR, less the 3% founder stream, plus the fees in the block. Blocks arrive on average every 75 seconds, and which miner finds each one is chance.
A pool splits what it finds among its miners, so payouts are smaller and steadier. No pool exists yet. When pools do exist, spreading across them keeps any one of them from getting large enough to matter.
